“Toni Erdmann” is on everyone’s lips. Maren Ades nominated for an Oscar comedy tells of a difficult father-daughter relationship, which largely takes place against the background of the management world in Romania. Besides the story, the audience will also learn a lot about the economy of the second poorest country in the EU. It becomes apparent how difficult the labour market develops when corporations and swarms of consultants think first of their profits and lastly of the people.
What the country needs – and what we do
Now it is important to activate the sources of strength of the local economy and to qualify the people. This requires know-how and fair investments that make the Balkans a partner at eye level instead of a victim of economic self-interest. We at KONZEPTE GmbH would also like to make our contribution to such fair support. We have been a member of the AHK Romania in Bucharest since 2009 and offer seminars or keynotes in Bucharest on the topics of “Leadership” and “International Project Management”.
The dual system in Romania
The AHK Romania is committed to the implementation of training and further education measures along the lines of the German dual vocational training system. The dual system ensures close integration of theoretical and practical training content, so that companies invest in the training of skilled workers who meet the actual needs of companies. We have always experienced the AHK as a strong and competent partner at our side. How difficult the environment in Romania is at the moment and how great the challenges are we currently reading in the daily press. The Romanian people want to fight corruption and nepotism of the rulers. What other issues are currently on Romania’s minds?
The availability of a qualified workforce has been a key issue for potential investors and established companies in Romania for many years. However, this area is not only of particular importance for foreign investors, but also the structural changes in the Romanian economy make the issue of the qualification of the workforce an increasingly important aspect for the further economic development of the country.
The contribution of KONZEPTE
We hope to make a decisive contribution here as an internationally experienced management consultancy. We are pleased to be able to advise and support the AHK Romania for the first time in the relaunch of its training and further education strategy from the end of February. An exciting assignment for us – of which we would like to report further news. News from Bucharest follows.
